I’m Krista, wife to Tom and mom to Andrew and Sammy. I am a homeschooling mom who is grateful for the time I have with my kids and to spend doing what I love. I love reading, mysteries, Tex-Mex food, and fabric shopping. I’m known around my house for trying to jump out and scare everyone. 
My husband is Tom and he is awesome. He is what I like to call my IT Master Ninja. He does networks and all things computer and technical. He is a WWII buff and loves things like Quantum Physics, String Theory, and other science-y stuff. He is also a cutie pie and the LOML.
Andrew is my oldest son. He is 13 going on 30. He is all music and wikipedia, all the time. He is into civil rights and politics and how the world works – and music. He has been mixing and making his own cds for a few years. He is something .
Sammy is my baby. He is 11 and one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet. He really cares about people and nature and loves things to be happy and good. He is computer and video game crazy and has gotten REALLY good at doing computer graphics. He is also really funny!
I love to do all sorts of crafty things. I spent much of my life being what they call “jack of all trades but master of none” because I wasn’t sure what I really wanted to do. I’ve done basket making, beading and jewelry making, soap making, scrapbooking and rubber stamping. I’d would enjoy what I was doing, get bored and move on. Then I discovered quilting and knew I had found my thing!
I love quilting and cooking, crocheting and knitting, and general home sewing. I love to make things that enrich my home and my family and show the people around me that I love them.
