So Many Bags, So Little Time + a Tutorial

Untitled-1Have you ventured into the world of bag making?  If you have, what’s your favorite & Why?  Which do you recommend?  Leave me a comment!  Comments also enter you into my random monthly drawing to receive a little something in the mail. :)

I have only dabbled in trying bags and not any of the more substantial ones but I see them frequently online and carried by fellow guild members (St. Louis Modern Quilt Guild) and think, “Wow!  I want to make that!”

And here’s a tutorial for a medium sized zip pouch for your purse, makeup, or whatever.  I don’t remember when I made this, but I found it on my computer so I thought I’d share it with you.  Sorry it’s not the greatest photo!  Hope you like it.  PDF Tutorial

My fave bag is Noodlehead’s 241 tote. I’ve made it 4 times so far,,,the last one was a QAYG, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Thanks for the tutorial.

Oh Fransoon Perfect Zip bags is one of my faves – becuase they really do turn out perfect. Her Sewing Circle Tote is so functional – I love that too. The pockets etc. are well thought out.
