This weeks giveaway is a bit of a mish-mash of fabrics. First, there is a Moda Charm Pack spread out there in the center. I wish I could tell you what it was called! I spent forever looking for it on line but came up with nothing. If YOU know, I would so appreciate finding out after all that searching! Plus…. lots of other classic/civil war type fabrics.
So:
1 Moda charm pack
4 fat quarters of Moda Libertyville red stars
approximately 1/2 yard of Peddler’s Village RJR fabrics
a piece of Civil War by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Brothers
1 fat quarter of burgundy quilt shop fabric with gold and blue stars
1/4 yard of a green batik
1/2 yard of Mums the Word by Debbie Mumm for SSI
1/2 yard (almost) of navy blue with with flowers
1/2 yard (almost) dark green print fabric
plus scraps of burgundy, the flag, and some mustard and burnt orange scrap strips.
All in all it’s a good amount of fabric for someone who likes these classic and civil war-y fabrics. I hate to keep passing over them in a drawer when someone out there might really love them.
For your chance to win, leave a blog post below and tell me what is your favorite store for quilt fabric – live or online. For extra chances, follow the prompts on the promosimple widget.

I’m in the UK so my favourite shop is Simply Solids (online)
These would go great in a QOV quilt! I remember seeing those fabrics in the charm pack but I cant remember the name either ;(
I live in a rural area, and my most favorite local quilt store is Quilting
Cottage. It is located in an old farmhouse. She has a nice selection of
fabrics. She has occasional classes. Prices are very reasonable. She
also offers long arm quilting services. The owner, Jenny, is a school
teacher by profession; and her shop is open Thurs-Sat. Her shop
is a very welcome addition in our area. Most of the other shops are
at least 80-150 miles away. My most favorite shop, located 150 miles
away: Patches, etc. in St. Charles, MO; unfortunately is closing. My
favorite online store is Missouri Star Quilt shop in Hamilton, MO.
Thanks for the chance to win!

well I usually go to the fat quarter shop online because they have a 12 lb box of fabric for 55 bucks. plus shipping. but its awesome.
My favorite online quilt shop is the Missouri Star Quilt Co.
There’s not many quilt shops near me.
My favorite quilt shop is the online Fat Quarter shop. Thanks for the giveaway!
It’s a 3-way tie among Fat Quarter Shop, Connecting Threads and Fabric.com – all on-line stores. Thanks for the chance to win.
I know this sounds terrible, but I have only been quilting for 3 months and as such don’t have a fav. In fact, I have only shopped at walmart, hobby lobby and Joann’s…. None of which are true quilting stores.
We only have one quilt store in my city, and thank goodness it is a fabulous shop! It’s called Country Quilter.
The owner is wonderful and the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. There are lots of ideas and quilts on display to help motivate (not that we need it)
Thank you for the chance to win such a generous givaway.

I adore Pink Chalk Fabrics–they are online only, so are available at any moment.
I love our local Quilt Shop “Wish Upon a Quilt” They have so much fabric and offer BOM’s and other classes. I also love Bug Fabric online. Bug Fabrics have a lot of Childrens designs and I’ve been making quilts to give to our local Children’s Hospital.
Thanks so much for this awesome giveaway.
Good luck to all!

I like FQS(online)
Pink Castle Fabrics is my favorite online quilt shop! Great service there!
I love civil war prints, but they’re hard to find in my area. Thanks for a chance to win!
My favorite shop right now for fabric is the Craft Warehouse. It used to be a sweet little local quilt store but it closed down.
I really don’t have a favorite. Joann’s is the closest so it is my ‘go to’ store. I like Keepsake Quilting but love fabric and any store that takes PayPal will work for me!
thanks for the chance to win
I like to shop in person. The colors are not as true online. i was so disappointed last time I shopped online for fabric.
I wish I could shop in person but I live in Greece and we don’t have cotton fabric here, unless you count IKEA’s, so Fabric Shack’s shipping is just $12 and they have a great selection or some friends Etsy stores that I have met through the bloggy community I shop at. I would love to make an American themed quilt with the fabrics you are offering.
I found a great fabric site on line called “4my3boyz”. It has great fat quarters and not as expensives as other sights, plus a 10% discount if you order 4 or more fat quarters. info@4my3boyz.com
I mainly shop at my local fabricland store. I had shopped a bit on line, but then the prices of shipping skyrocketed.
I am in Australia so I do visit quilt shops but I like to shop online – a great one is ‘Craft Depot’ here in Australia. I also shop on ebay where there are lots of bargains for fabrics and fat 1/4′s.
My favorite shop online is etsy! You can find so much fabric. I also have a store near me called quilters bee I like to go too.
My favorite store both personal and on line is Fabric Depot in Portland, Oregon. I can just spend hours in there just wondering around and getting all kinds of ideas. Thanks
I love to shop live in California in a city called Visalia in a shop called THIMBLE TOWNE!
I absolutely love my local quilt shop, and they carry great fabrics. However, most of my purchases actually seem to be online…maybe because I find some great deals or low shipping etc. And it’s done online in the convenience of my home and pj’s!

I have several favorite quilt shops but Rainbows End in Dunedin Florida has 20,000 (yes you read that right) bolts of fabric. It’s a quilters paradise.
Vogue Fabrics in Chicago is fine for my novice needs… i’m jsut learning to sew!
I am new to quilting so I have only shopped at Joann Fabrics for fabrics to quilt with.
I live in Ohio….no cool Quilt shops close to me…..but Love a few On-line shops, Missouri Star Quilt Co., Intrepid Threads, & Connecting threads & a few others. I do shop at our local Jo-Ann’s sometimes too.
Thanks for the chance to win the beautiful fabric!!
I forgot to add…. our nearest Hobby Lobby and Michaels is 60 miles away. BUT we have a JoAnns opeing up in May. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
I am in England and we have nothing nearby. I usually shop online and my favourite is Sew La La, they have excellent service and good postage rates too. Thanks for a lovely giveaway.
I like Connecting Threads online and locally Sunflower Quilts and Picket Fence.
I would have to say my favorite quilt store is Hawthorne Threads (at the moment) although I do order from quite a few other online stores… You are in St. Louis, I am just south of St. Louis, do you have a Local Quilt Shop that is a favorite? I haven’t found one since I moved here.

My fav online store is Fat Quarter Shop and Christa Quilts and Green Fairy Quilts. So many amazing fabrics to choose from!
I would love to win this. My daughter and I are planning to make a quilt – this would get us motivated.
I love the Fat Quarter Shop. Kimberly Jolly has excellent customer service skills!
My favorite local quilt shop would be a toss up between Lori’s Country Cottage in Sherwood Park and Quilter’s Dream in Edmonton. My favorite on line ones are Connecting Threads for reasonable prices and shipping,
and Hancocks of Paducah and Fat QuarterShop for newer lines of fabric.
I also like Sew Sister’s in Toronto though I have not shopped from their shop for awhile.
I really don’t have much civil war fabric in my collection – tend to like batiks and stronger colors. Sometimes one needs to experiment with other things.
Thanks for the chance to win these fabrics. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog too. It is always fun to meet new quilters .

Anna
