A Lovely Year of Finishes – January 2013 Finish

quilting-3

My challenge for January’s A Lovely Year of Finishes was to finish this WIP.   I did some fun boxes around the outer sashing, outlined the multi-colored zig zags and echoed the zig zags on the brown strips.  I found a white fabric in my stash with circles that matched the colors in the quilt.

I will post a better photo as soon as the weather calms down and I can get outside for a good shot!

Yay!  Feels good to get this off my plate.  Now for February!  Maybe something not quite so big!

Nice finish! I started the opposite way – smallest projects first, but soon I’m going to be out of those and only have big ones left!

Ooh, yay for your big finish! I don’t know if I’ll ever feel energetic enough this year to make a quilt my finishing goal… :D
