For this month’s giveaway, I’m digging into my stash for a big grab bag of kid & critter prints. Some are smaller pieces, some are 1/4-yards, some 1/2 yards. Note – there are a lot of cat fabrics due to the collection I ended up with after making my kitty loving son’s quilt. There are also quite a few not shown – bees, flowers, more critter, ABC-123. Anyway – it’s a good size bag with a good assortment of kid friendly prints! Along with that I have an older special issue of Quilt It – For Kids. All the patterns are still attached inside and it’s packed with kid & baby quilts to give you loads of ideas!

Favorite book of all time is too hard==I wrote and erased several answers. Favorite books of adulthood may be the “Three Pines” series from Louise Penny. They are mysteries, but so much more. Beautifully written, with themes that extend far beyond “whoodunnit”. She has a new one coming out in September, so there is still time to catch up before then.

I don’t really have a favorite book. I have some favorite authors and will read anything that they write. I’ve read some pretty good books recently too. I love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward, the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, the Carpathians series by Christine Feehan, and the In Death series by JD Robb.

I like scary books– and my all-time favorite is “Watchers” by Dean Koontz. I think the fact that the hero of the book is a golden retriever may be one of the things that makes me love it so…
